Alex has over 30 years’ experience in business development, infrastructure project management, engineering and global supply chains. Through Ausinland, which he founded in 2016, Alex is applying his expertise and passion for trade facilitation to international companies looking to expand their markets in Australia and China. 

Alex is particularly skilled at opening up new distribution channels, identifying business development opportunities and providing supply chain solutions to optimise outcomes for all stakeholders. His involvement in numerous major infrastructure projects across the globe has provided him with a wealth of experience covering market development, engineering, manufacturing, construction, transportation, planning, and risk management.

Alex is applying these skills by partnering with the industry and leading global companies such as CRCHI, the world’s leading tunnel boring machine company, to provide tunnel boring, drill and blast equipment, rail systems technologies and agricultural equipment into the Australia and New Zealand markets.

Alex has degrees in mechanical engineering and economics. He is a member of the Australian Tunnelling Society and the Australasian Society for Trenchless Technologies. He has held various executive and project leadership roles in companies that have operated in China, Africa and Australia.
